Grand meeting, parade celebrating Southern Liberation Day
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a plan on the organization of a grand meeting, a military parade and a procession to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Southern Liberation Day on April 30, 1975.

These events will be broadcasted live on the Viet Nam Television (VTV) and the Voice of Viet Nam in Ho Chi Minh City.
The organization of the events aim to praise forces, reflect great achievements of the nation and Ho Chi Minh City, create a motivation for the whole citizens to realize national goals as well as welcoming the 12th Party Congress scheduled for 2016.
Besides, the events also assert the status and historical value of the Southern Liberation Victory and the national reunification and bring into full play the strength of the bloc’s unity for the national construction and protection.
