Negotiation on ADB loan agreed
VGP - The PM has agreed with the proposal of the State Bank of Việt Nam regarding negotiations with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on a loan for a project to develop irrigation system in the northern area of the Chu River and the southern area of the Mã River.
The VND 4,315-billion project, already approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, will build a main canal with a length of 16.5 km, a northern major canal with a length of 58.5 km and a southern major canal with a length of 43.3 km.
The irrigation system will serve nearly 32,000 ha of agricultural land, replacing over 100 pump stations stationed along the three rivers of Chu, Mã and Cầu Chày.
