The Government chief stressed that over the recent five years, Viet Nam has gained crucial achievements but huge difficulties and challenges still remain, especially in terms of competitiveness, productivity, workforce quality, infrastructure, among others.

PM Dung affirmed the Government’s strong determination to overcome these difficulties and challenges while calling for more assistance from development partners.

It is imperative to continue ensuring a peaceful and stable environment for development and realizing strategic breakthroughs, namely institutional improvement, human resource development, and infrastructure development.

PM Dung pledged to double efforts to stabilize macroeconomy, prioritize the development of private sector, restructure the economy, transform growth model, accelerate international integration and enhance governance capacity.

He also reaffirmed Viet Nam’s consistent foreign policy of peace, friendship and cooperation for mutual development with all countries.
