Accordingly, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism HoangTuan Anh is authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the Vietnamese Government.
The MRA aims to facilitate the mobility of tourism professionals within ASEAN, laying a foundation for mutual tourism knowledge and skills to enable workers to work in all member countries of the bloc.
The MRA allows foreign tourism professionals in the bloc, who are recognized by ASEAN member countries, to be eligible to work in a host country.
It will help foster competitiveness of the tourism sector in the bloc and attract needed talent to meet local skill shortages.
