VGP – The PM has approved a Germany-sponsored project to preserve and exploit sustainably biological diversity and forest eco-system in Viet Nam.
Wildlife National Park project in Ninh Binh ratified
VGP - The PM has approved a master project on the construction of a Wildlife National Park in the northern province of Ninh Binh.
Infrastructure upgraded for agricultural development in Cu lao Tay
VGP – The PM has agreed to add the project on upgrading infrastructure for agricultural development and in response to climate change in Cu Lao Tay, Thanh Binh district in the southern province of Dong Thap into the list of projects to benefit from the Saudi Fund for Development.
PM approves IT application in social security project
VGP – The PM has ratified the estimates for information technology (IT) application in the social security sector in 2012-2015.
Power grid development in HN, HCM City approved
VGP – The PM has approved the financial mechanism of the Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City Power Grid Development Sector Project, which is sponsored by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the ASEAN Infrastructure Fund (AIF).
Coastal forest coverage to reach 19.5% by 2020
VGP – The PM has approved the Plan on coastal forest protection and development in response to climate change in the 2015-2020 phase.
Vinh Airport to be upgraded into int’l airport
VGP – The PM has agreed a plan to upgrade Vinh Airport in the central region into an international airport after the year 2030, with post-2030 orientations.
Museum of Nature to be built
VGP - The PM has agreed with the proposal of the Viet Nam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) to build the Viet Nam Museum of Nature (VMN).
More capital allocated for climate change response program
VGP – The PM has approved a VND3,000 billion sum sourced from the 2015 State budget to go to 16 transition projects under the financially-allocated Support Program to Respond to Climate Change in Viet Nam (SP-RCC), coastal mangrove forest projects, riverhead protective forest projects and urgent project in the SP-RCC list.
Germany-supported wind power project approved
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung has ratified a wind power development project, which is financed through the non-refundable aid from the German Government.
